Nuvana Business is the retail business software I built for Kenyan SMBs that need something lighter than a full ERP but stronger than fragmented spreadsheets.
It serves retail categories where daily stock movement matters: electronics, pharmacies, cosmetics, hardware, agrovets, and general retail.
02 / Problem
Strong sales, weak stock confidence
One of the clearest wins came from a pharmaceutical retailer running three active shops and two warehouses. Sales were not the problem. The blind spot was stock.
With inventory moving between locations, nobody had a reliable picture of what was actually on hand at any given time. The risk was not that the business could not sell; it was that the business could not fully trust its own stock position.
03 / Intervention
Software plus physical and procedural stock discipline
We did not just plug in software. We rebuilt how stock physically and procedurally moved through the business.
That meant proper shelving and warehousing structure, approval flows for stock movement between locations, and audit trails so every transfer could be traced.
